Before I started dental treatment at Bennett Family Dentistry I was the biggest chicken around. I would get so nervous just driving by a dentist's office. In desperate need of a root canal due to a terrible experience with my previous dentist, I was eager to find a new dental practice. Being referred to Bennett Family Dentistry was a tremendous blessing in so many ways. Certainly, my root canal was attended to immediately. I remember that very well because I was so impressed by the prompt appointment to get me in, the care Dr. Bennett took to make sure I was comfortable and experiencing no pain, and how they all worked late to make sure my procedure was done correctly and not hurriedly. I was treated like I was the only patient they had. Since that visit, my family and I have been regular patients and I no longer have that giant fear of going to the dentist.

I should also point out that one of the greatest assets to the group is the staff. Whether I needed to schedule an appointment or check on insurance or anything, I have been treated patiently and so kindly. I have never felt like an account number or an anonymous customer. I feel my family and I are part of the Bennett Family. The fact that the entire office has such a good rapport with each patient is sadly not the norm in physician offices anymore. When I walk in or call, the staff knows me and I have enjoyed getting to know them. All that and excellent dental care is why I'd recommend anyone to Bennett Family Dentistry.

My experience at Bennett Family Dentistry was the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a dental office. I suffered from intense anxiety and fear leading up to my dental treatment, it was terrible. The team at Bennett Family Dentistry understood my fears and actually helped me overcome them! As usual I had a great experience at Bennett Family Dentistry this morning for my bi-annual checkup. Although I have always thought of the "Family" in the name of the practice as referring to the fact that the practice cares for the entire family (all ages) it suddenly struck me this morning that it equally refers to the fact that all of the patients are treated like family! Dr. Bennett and his staff have always shown me and my family respect and has offered the type of care that goes beyond "standard care". After my wife had a bicyle accident and was told she would lose both front teeth, Dr. Bennett suggested alternative treatment including careful and close monitoring. First of all, I am terrified of dentistry. I don't think I have ever told any of the dentists how nervous I am each time I have work done (I don't want them to know what a baby I am). I must say that I love all my friends at Bennett Family and Children's Dentistry. I have been a patient of the practice since 1980 and my sons and now their wives and families are all patients of BFCD. In fact, it's the only dental practice they have known in their lives! I totally trust Dr. Bennett, Dr. Greene, and Dr. Wood. And if Elaine can't clean my teeth, that's OK. I'll just wait until she can! In order to be more consumer friendly, BFCD has expanded their hours to accommodate all. I'd imagine they are the only dental practice in Gainesville to open on Friday! When I went in for a scaling last week I was a little apprehensive, however, the hygienist quickly put me at ease, explained exactly what she what she would be doing and pointed out the areas that I needed to work on at home. I visited your office today for a cleaning and exam. I have been a patient for 3 years now. Just visited the office for a regular check up. Kimberely was my Dental Hygenist. As usual she was very helpful and Dr. Bennett was quick and efficient. I was unaware the bridge on the upper left side of my jaw was leaking as I had experienced no pain. When Dr. Bennett found the leak during an check up he immediately scheduled an appointment. The leak was much worse than he expected. He worked for hours to save the tooth that held the bridge in place instead of pulling it (which would have taken a lot less of his time). The dentists and the staff are friendly, warm, and professional. Every person in the Bennett Family Dentistry I have come in contact with makes me feel that I am the only patient they have that day. My husband and I feel completely confident that we are receiving the best dental advice and care available and I look forward to our checkups twice a year. Thank you!

First of all,I again want to compliment the front office on how nice I am always treated when I am there and when I call and I see that with every patient..Thank you! This morning I called and I am so bad with names, but again the person I spoke with was so nice ....i wasn't able to keep an appointment, because of an on going medical problem I have and I apoligize for that...Dr Greene, whom i think the world of and her work is superb..she conveyed to this person, she can see me Monday...I am the worst to worry and my problem is concerning the lower denture, which I know is going to be a problem to stablize without a necessary procedure...This was conveyed to me...so if this is what will be talked about ..i know "yall" leave early Friday, but if someone could call let me know...what bothers me is that the way it was said to me after the person talking with me said Dr Greene wants to meet with me at the appointment time and if this is what it is concerned about or the financial part, I would feel better knowing...whatever the reason, the later , I promise will be taken care of...I just don't want to worry....Thank all of you and God bless you and your familes!

I always went to my dentist 4 times per year for cleanings. Then in 2008 I got sick and the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me but I ended up quitting my job and losing my benefits. I didn't go to a dentist from 2008 until just the other day. This was the best dental experience of my life - and I've had plenty! This visit could have been so painful because of the condition of my teeth, but because of an awesome dental hygienist there was no discomfort at all.
